B.E.K. Group Energy Service Company Ltd. was founded in 2007 with the purpose of creating a complex service system for its business partners utilizing the extensive contracting, investment and commerce experience of its founders in the electric energy sector.

In 2007 our company received its electricity trading license and started exploring commercial partners and developing business solutions. In the same year our Hungarian balance group became active and the fi rst contracts took place.

The continuous expansion of our portfolio characterized 2008, the result of which was an active balance group by the end of the year in Austria. Our balance group contracts reached 254 GWh.

Similar to previous years, further growth characterized our company in 2009, our balance group continued to expand with balance groups in Slovenia and Germany. The annual turnover of our balance groups reached 1.526 GWh.

Now as part of the B.E.K. Energy Trading Group, our goals for 2010 include opening to Romania and Croatia, and expanding the existing portfolio in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic with the member companies.
